►Volunteers Needed: Are any of you interested dancing at retirement communities/nursing homes/community events in our area. Our area spans across Baton Rouge, Covington, Houma and New Orleans? We hope to announce a schedule for future events soon. There are 3 retirement communities requesting we dance for their residence in Mandeville for no dates have been set. No experience necessary, only a good heart. Please consider participating. ►Diana, chapter vice president visited with George and Karan Barton on January 17th and presented them with a check for $1,000 from donations still arriving. Donations to our chapter to help cover Karan's expenses associated with her spinal cord injury now total over $14,000. There needs are great and long term. You may still send donations to:
