The moment you walk
inside a Ballroom Dance Studio, you'll quickly realize whatever your dancing goals are, we can help you achieve them.
Learn the correct technique to become a better ballroom and latin dancer. You will gain confidence and feel comfortable on the dance floor at social occasions. Perhaps there is a dance you have always wanted to learn like the passionate Tango or the seductive Rumba. Don't put it off any longer. Now is the time to take the first steps!
Everything from Private Lessons, Group Lessons, as well as Social Dance Parties and Events, you can find through the USADance Gumbo Chapter.
Learning how to dance, at any level, is like learning how to speak a new language: it takes patience, lots of practice, someone to practice with, great instructors, and then more practice...

Letter from the President...
I hope everyone had a wonderful Feburary month. We had a successful February dance party. We would like to say "Thank you" to everyone who brought snacks and dressed up as their favorite movie stars.
We have a lot in store for the month of March. On March 18th is our monthly dance party. The theme is St. Patrick's, so we are encouraging people to show off their Irish spirit.
The following Saturday, March 24th is the Houma montly dance at Studio 371 from 8pm - 11pm. On Sunday March 25th, Louisiana DanceSport is having their fundraiser dance from 1:00pm -5pm at the Jefferson and Orleans North.
If you are interested in going to the dance, you need to contact Jennifer Vaughn at 504-258-2220 or Peggy Clement at 225-202-2212 for tickets. Please support our Louisiana Dancesport!
Please check out our website for the latest news and events; also, check out “It’s all about Dance...” tab for places to dance in our area.
See you all on the dance floor,
Jenifer Auffenberg
